The industry is required by the new Israeli regulation to organise its Pharmacovigilance system, in harmonisation with international standards and EU Good Pharmacovigilance Practices.

In the framework of ISOP ISRAEL mission, and following the 1st MOH Pharmacovigilance Conference, we are launching the cycle “HOT TOPICS IN PV”, a series of sessions devoted to practical methods & tips for establishing and maintaining a good pharmacovigilance system.

The format of the HOT TOPICS IN PV sessions:

  • 1-1.5 hour of presentation followed by 1-1.5 hours of experience sharing & questions
  • One meeting every two to three months
  • Participation is free of charge

We are pleased to invite you to the first session:

  • Where we are coming from and where we are going? Teva's Experience in PhV – Dr. Hedva Voliovitch, Vice President of Global Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance, Teva
When: 2 January 2014, 16:00 – 18:00

Where: Teva offices, Bazel 16, Petah Tikva. Gefen Meeting Room, 3rd floor. Parking is available either behind Bazel 16 or on the street. Entrance to Bazel 16 is through the main entrance facing Bazel street via Teva guard.

Registration: Participation is free of charge, registration is mandatory (via email: Shifra@bioforum.co.il)

Objectives :

  • The major axis to organise all the key processes: organisation, benefit/risk analysis, and risk management
  • SOPs –  main SOPs and  recommended elements
  • A Check list for QA/QC and inspection readiness
  • Highlight of QPPV responsibilities     

Our Mission:

ISOP (International Society of Pharmacovigilance) has welcomed the creation of an Israeli Chapter to spread Pharmacovigilance education and training for all stakeholders : industry, academy, authorities, healthcare professionals and patients.
