AptaTeck bio proprietary platform technology is an amplification probe for developing highly sensitive immuno-diagnostic assays which employs antibodies and aptamers.

This probe can provide a solution for the continuous need to improve assay performance and obtain higher specificity, sensitivity and low limit of detection in reliable, reproducible and rapid tests.

Unlike the detection of biomarkers by antibodies and Aptamers that carry limited number of detection elements, AptaTeck offers a proprietary platform technology which is based on its universal probe that carries a multiple detection elements such as biotin molecules or fluorophores, which can easily be attached to either antibodies or nucleic acid aptamers. Immuno-diagnostic assays performed employing the above Probe-Ligand complex, resulting in an amplified signal. This leads to detection of low amounts of target molecules, enhancing the assay sensitivity. AptaTeck universal probe can also be linked to a second antibody in a secondary antibody based ELISA system. In this case the antibody linked probe is universal for most EILSA-like tests.

The high amplification signal of this universal probe is demonstrated in ELISA-like assays and Flow Cytometry. Moreover, AptaTeck technology enables the use of nucleic acid aptamers in modest sandwich ELISA, eliminating the needs for special monitoring system in today aptamers based diagnostic. The assay systems tested with AptaTeck probe  were found to be accurate and reproducible.

The technology could be applicable and integrated in other immuno-diagnostic platforms including: Lateral Flow, Micro fluidity, Immuno arrays and Immunohistochemistry.

The amplification system is compatible with a variety of platforms, automated and manual, and could be harmonized easily with most current commercial platforms. The use of the system is cost effective and enables accurate diagnosis in point of care.
