Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry – A new generation in Trace Analysis

Over the last 12 years, Syft Technologies, a New Zealand company, has developed a Selected ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometer (SIFT-MS) from a laboratory size installation  into a compact and user friendly  instrument that can be easily vehicle transported.

SIFT-MS technology  enables multiple compounds, VOCs and inorganics, to be identified and quantified simultaneously down to ppt levels within a few minutes.  These instrument are now used throughout the world, providing solutions to a variety of applications, in ambient air monitoring, oil exploration, food, industrial hygiene, semiconductor industries and many more. Requiring almost no training for operation and very little maintenance, it is a very effective solution to the most difficult analytical applications
