Regulatory Authorities received from June 2018 information that some (val)sartan products were contaminated with N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA)
and with N-nitrosodiethylamine (NDEA), known as possible carcinogen for humans. Those contaminations far exceeded regulatory exposure limits.
