The David Intercontinental Hotel offers a superb location for ISRASTEM 2016. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the Tel Aviv beach, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and is close to many cultural and financial centers. Its proximity to the beach and major centers in Tel Aviv enable
the participants to enjoy its surroundings.

Language: The official language of the conference is English
Climate: The weather in Tel Aviv in April is nice and pleasant during the day and cooler in the evenings. Temperatures range from 15 ° to 23°C.
Clothing: Informal for all occasions.
Electricity: Equipment in Israel is 220 volt A.C., single phase, 50 cycles. Some devices require an adapter (can be purchased locally).
Sound and Visual Options: Microsoft Office ™ is used and PowerPoint presentations are mandatory (supports all versions). A PC and projectors will be provided.
Visas: Residents of most counties do not need entry visas to Israel. However, please check the matter with relevant local authorities. Please do note, all issues regarding visas are the sole responsibility of the participant. The conference organizers will issue a letter confirming registration but are unable, due to legal reasons, to assist in acquiring the visa. Conference fees are non-refundable on grounds of visa.

Conference Kit and Name Tag

Upon registration to the conference you will receive your conference kit containing the printed material of the conference, name tag and voucher for lunch.

Airport Information

Ben Gurion International Airport is Israel's main international airport. It is situated approximately 25km (16 miles) south-east of Tel Aviv. The journey to Tel Aviv is approximately 30 minutes.

Transportation

By Train
The train station is located on Level S of the Landside Building, adjacent to the Greeters' Hall.
Train tickets can be purchased through automated ticket dispensers on Level G of the terminal.

By Bus (within Tel Aviv)
From the Hahagana train station Tel Aviv: Dan bus  line no. 16.
From the Arlozerov train station Tel Aviv: take Dan bus line no. 61 or 66.
From the central bus station Tel Aviv: Dan bus lines 16,17 & 31.
All Dan bus lines that stop at the Carmelit station are 5 minutes walk from the conference.
By Private Taxi
The taxi companies at Ben Gurion Airport operate under supervision of the Israel Airports Authority.
The taxi stations and dispatcher's counter at Terminal 3 are located on Level G of the Multi Level Road.

Parking:

Parking in the hotel: 70 NIS all day
There is a possibility to receive discount parking coupon at the registration booth. Number of the coupons is limited.
At the vicinity of the hotel there are parking areas in prices between 15-30 Nis per day.

Accommodation

For your convenience, hotel accommodation at special rates has been reserved to the participants of the conference.

Kfar Maccabiah is located in the heart of Israel; adjust to the conference center, 15 minutes from Ben Gurion Airport.

Extends over spacious grounds of lush greenery, lawns and gardens, in the center of Tel Aviv metropolitan, it is area a unique combination of business, pleasure and sport.
Reservations can be made for both single and double room. In order to benefit from these rates, reservations should be made through Bioforum Applied Knowledge Center (conference secretary) and not directly with the hotel.
