Human Error Study as a Part of Method Validation Task

Ilya Kuselman has received his Ph.D. diploma in inorganic chemistry from Kalinin State University, Russia, in 1974, and D.Sc. in analytical chemistry – from R&D Institute for Rare Metal Industry, Moscow, Russia, in 1989. From 1991 to 2014 he was a co-worker and further Director of the National Physical Laboratory of Israel. Currently Ilya is an Independent Consultant on Metrology. He has published above 200 papers in reputed journals in the fields of metrology and quality in analytical chemistry.

A member of Intercontinental Advisory Board of Accreditation and Quality Assurance - Journal for Quality, Comparability and Reliability in Chemical Measurement (Springer). A member of the Editorial Boards of Russian journals “Industrial Laboratory: Diagnostics of Materials” (Zavodskaya Laboratoria: Diagnostika Materialov) and “Reference Materials” (Standartnie Obraztsi). Reviewer of these and some other journals.

Member of the Cooperation on International Traceability in Analytical Chemistry (CITAC) and of the Interdivisional Working Party for Harmonization of Quality Assurance of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC).                              

Member of the Committee on Reference Materials (ISO/REMCO) and the Committee on Measurement Methods and Results (ISO/TC 69/SC 6) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Regional Coordinator of the National Conference of Standards Laboratories International (NCSLI).

Member of the Executive Committee of the Israel Analytical Chemistry Society and a member of the Israel Society for Quality.
